Academic practice opportunities in Southern Gulf Coast City of Mobile The Department of Neurology at the University of South Alabama is seeking the following neurologists: Vascular Neurologists to complement their Vascular Neurology program. University Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for USA Health. The hospital has a comprehensive stroke center, dedicated Neurocritical care unit and is a level one trauma center. Cognitive Neurologist to complement their cognitive disorders program. The USA Department of Neurology has an excellent patient base, with strong research resources, including intracranial and nonlinear brain physiology. Epileptologist to join an active, level 4 epilepsy center. The program has excellent infrastructure, including video EEG recording up to 512 channels with DC and high frequency amplifiers, Curry source localization software and comprehensive imaging resources. BC/BE in Neurology and Epilepsy is required, including fellowship training in comprehensive surgical evaluation. Research experience preferred. Additional General Clinical Neurologists Positions are avaiable at the Rank of Assistant, Associate and Professor. The neurology department has an established adult neurology residency program.
